The Republic of India passport holders travelling to Malaysia from 1 December 2023 until 31 December 2026 are eligible for visa-free entry into Malaysia, which permits a stay of up to 30 days for each entry and visit to the country.

• The eVisa is a fully online application, whereas the Consular Visa requires an in-person visit to a Consulate. • The eVisa and the physical visa have the same characteristics: both have the same validity and allow multiple entries. • The eVisa application is completed directly on the Government website, and the approved eVisa is delivered via email, which is not the case for the Consular Visa. • The eVisa won't be stamped on your passport, while the Consular Visa will be.
