Visitor / Tourist Visa Fee

  1. This is the charge for Immigration Taiwan to process your application. We do not refund application costs if we decline your application.
  2. A non-refundable immigration levy is charged and is included in the cost.
  3. You can pay for your application online by Visa, Mastercard or UnionPay.
  4. Payment Gateway Charge May Applied. This is excluded in the cost.
  5. The visa application for children under 18 years old is made by one of the parents, legal guardian or the person that is the legal carer.
  6. Additional Applicants Are Not Eligible For This Visa. Each Individual, Including Those Listed On Your Passport, Must Submit A Separate Application.

Basic requirements
To be eligible for TAC, all of the following basic requirements must be met:

  1. The applicant’s passport must have remaining validity of at least six months starting from the date of arrival in Taiwan.
  2. The applicant must possess an onward/return air or ferry ticket.
  3. The applicant has never been employed as a migrant worker in Taiwan.
  4. The applicant has no record of violations of immigration irregularities or law in Taiwan.

Special requirements
In addition to the aforementioned basic requirements, one of the following requirements must also be met:

  • 1.The applicant possesses at least one of the following documents issued by the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, any of EU and Schengen countries, New Zealand, Australia, Japan※ or Korea※.
    • 。A valid resident or permanent resident certificate
    • 。A valid entry visa (including electronic visa)
    • 。A resident certificate or visa that has expired less than 10 years prior to the date of arrival in Taiwan; however, applicants who use an electronic visa issued by Australia or New Zealand as the required document must present the valid Australia or New Zealand electronic visa as entering Taiwan.
    • Please fill in an (online) Arrival Card (https://twac.immigration.gov.tw/) for immigration inspection each time before reentry within the validity of this certificate. (When entering the country for the first time with this certificate, there is no need to fill in the (online) Arrival Card.)
