• Valid flight ticket OR proof of reservation.
• Proof Of Accommodation: Hotel Bookings Or Accommodation (Sponsor or Invitee letter) Guarantees Covering The Whole Duration Of The Intended Stay.
• Proof of funds (Last 03 month’s bank statement signed and stamped by the bank with a balance South African Currency R 3000 or equivalent in INR for Delhi and Mumbai)
• Required original Indian bank statement on bank letterhead with stamp and signature and no Passbook, e-statements, Net banking copies will be accepted
• Original NOC for leave from employer/ school/ university clearly mentioning the name, passport number of applicant(s) and duration of visit. Letter must have the physical address, as well as contact details of authorized signature’s name, designation and signature.
• A day-to-day itinerary/travel plan covering your stay in South Africa.
• Vaccination certificate, (yellow fever) If applicant will travel through or stay in yellow fever belt.
• Marriage certificate with Notary, where applicable (For verification purpose applicant needs to carry the Original Marriage Certificate at the time of submission at VFS centre)
• Original covering letter signed by the applicant stating the name, passport number of applicant(s) and duration of visit. Letter must have the physical address, as well as contact details of authorized signature’s name, designation and signature (should clearly mention who will bear the expenses of the trip)
• For Minor Dependent Children Applicant: Birth Certificate with Notary & Parental Consent Affidavit
• For Family Visit: Letter of invitation from the South African hosts stating the name, passport number of applicant as well as purpose and duration of visit (two-way travel date with should be 90 days or less). Letter must have the physical address, as well as contact details of the host and host’s/authorized signature’s name, designation and signature; and Invitation letter attested by commissioner of OATHS or South African Police with valid date: dates valid for 90 days.
• For Family Visit: Residence Proof of host from South Africa (permanent residence permit or work permit) attested by commissioner of OATHS or South African Police with valid date: dates valid for 90 days.
• For Business Visit: Letter of invitation from the South African organizers/hosts/companies stating the name, passport number of applicant as well as purpose and duration of visit. Letter must have the physical address, as well as contact details of the host and host’s/authorized signature’s name, designation and signature (Host ID copy attested by commissioner of OATHS needs to be submitted if required by SAHC). Also, submissions at Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Goa, Pune and Bangalore must have host ID copy attested by Commissioner of Oaths/South African Police (latest 3 months). CIPC (Companies and Intellectual Property Commission) attested by Commissioner of Oaths/South African Police latest 3 months is mandatory.
• For Business Visit: Reference/introduction letter from Indian employer stating the name, passport number of applicant as well as purpose and duration of visit. Letter must have the physical address, as well as contact details of applicant & authorized signature’s name, designation and signature;
• For Business Visit: Incase Indian company is bearing the cost of the traveller in that case we would need company bank statement with bank stamp and signature. or if South African company is taking the responsibility of the traveller in that case south african company bank statement would be required
